The NCFF is made up of a group of passionate filmmakers and artists that have worked to create an outlet for emerging new voices and ideas while providing audiences with a unique experience in a picturesque location; Nevada City, California, which is already known for its sophisticated arts and cultural scenes.

Last year's festival exceeded expectations by growing in the number of films screened, overall attendance, attending film makers, and special events. This year, attendees will again find an exceptional destination festival where they can meet other enthusiastic film lovers and be inspired by talented and exciting new film makers - all the while enjoying beautiful Nevada City, CA.
