The Nevada City Film Festival (NCFF) continues their short informal workshops on Visual Storytelling across a variety of media platforms with Intro to Instagram, Tuesday, March 8th.Each one of us has a story to share and visual storytelling is the most powerful medium to inspire, educate, and/or entertain hearts and minds.  Over 400 million users around the globe are using the photo sharing app Instagram and now is a great time to join the trend and create a presence for your business or organization.

Erin Thiem, social media maven for the Outside Inn, Inn Town Campground, and VisitNevadaCity, will begin with the basics and share tips and tools on topics including: how to set up an account, understanding hashtags, content stategies, editing your photos, learning what is share worthy content and how to further amplify what your audience is sharing the most.  Also get some insight on what makes a compelling image because your content’s storytelling element is just as important as the visuals you use.

Attendees will leave with a new understanding and appreciation of the technologies changing the storytelling medium.
